Experience the fun and excitement of snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Country Squirrel Outfitters, of Ridgway, PA, will have a variety of cross country skis & snowshoes available for use. Experts will provide assistance and basic instruction throughout the day. This is a free program. Participants will have an opportunity to try out different types of equipment & receive expert advice on selecting the proper gear to match your height, weight, experience level & terrain challenges. No reservations needed. Stop by any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.to meet the folks from Country Squirrel Outfitters & try the Winter Sports equipment. All participants should be prepared for outdoor activity. Please dress for the weather, wearing layers of moisture-wicking fabrics. Waterproof shoes or boots and rain pants are strongly recommended.
