Annual Winter Owl Count

Birders needed! Nolde Forest has been holding a winter bird count for over 20 years. Data is recorded and compared to prior years. Walk the trails with Nolde staff and help them identify and count numbers of bird species in the park. Owl identification skills needed. If you are an experienced birder but have trouble hiking the trails, call the park we may be able to make an accomodation. Bring your own binoculars and flashlight. Field guides will be available. Hot drinks provided.
