Letters To The Editor [Spring 2021]
I deeply appreciated your comments about treating people with respect, dignity and kindness in your latest “From Where I Sit” [Winter 2020/2021]. I am on the faculty at George Washington University in DC and one thing we teach our students is respect for each other—even when you disagree. I've been so fortunate that they do a good job [of it] in my classes.
Please renew my subscription. My wife and I subscribed to your wonderful magazine about a year before we actually moved here from New York in the fall of 2009. When we first visited here sometime in 2008, we fell in love with Lewisburg and decided, after reading a few of your issues, that the Susquehanna Valley was where we wanted to move. So here we are, 11 years later and still enjoy every issue. Thank you for all the wonderful stories and pictures.
Please renew my subscription to Susquehanna Life magazine. I absolutely love the content and the joyful frame of mind it puts me in each season. You do an awesome job—obviously you and your contributors create it from your hearts as well as your minds. Thank you for this multi-sensory explosion of sight. It engages one’s sounds, aromas and taste buds without the reader actually being present. This is the gift you offer us with each issue, and I am thankful!
May God bless your outreach to our communities! Merry Christmas!
Thank you for another absolutely outstanding [Winter 2020] issue. I love the article on Gen./former Pres. Ike. I believe he was the inspiration for my own military career of 22 years. I owe my country everything! Thank you again for a truly magnificent magazine.
Your publication is wonderful! We get a huge pile of magazines and catalogs and stuff, and yours always stands out from all the rest. Please keep up the good work…you’re a class act!
Happy holidays to you and yours,
I first became acquainted with this magazine last year at work where the magazine was out for our clients to read while waiting.
My husband and I love to travel. We became very interested when I saw there were articles about different places in the Susquehanna Valley. I took it home and read it cover to cover and enjoyed it very much. I subscribed so I could have the magazines coming to my house. I am very excited to learn about the fascinating places explored by the magazines.
