Letters To The Editor [Winter 2019]
I love your magazine, and the region. I was born in Shamokin, and have a cottage in Elysburg, about two miles from Knoebel’s. Ah, summer. Thank-you!
Judy Sheridan, Reston, Va.
We are looking forward to receiving your magazine every quarter. I looked through it briefly in a waiting room and found some great places to discover!
Bill and Sue Shipe, Hummels Wharf, Pa.
I found Susquehanna Life magazine in the waiting room at my chiropractor’s office. I’m an avid outdoors enthusiast and my wife and I enjoy the area festivals and [things] to do. Your magazine has a great deal of both topics in it, so we see it as a good planning guide. Thank-you!
David Henkel, Dillsburg, Pa.
Dear Ms. Shames,
I thoroughly enjoy receiving Susquehanna Life! As a 56-year resident of Pennsylvania, I look forward to receiving each issue.
I was a teacher at Mifflinburg High School for 35 years, after graduating from Bloomsburg State College in 1966. In July of 2005, my wife Jean and I moved to Georgia to be near our daughter and grandsons. After 19 years in Georgia, I still consider myself a Pennsylvanian. Keep up the good work.
