Local charity organization, The Gearbox Union, will
be streaming 24-plus hours of gaming goodness starting at 12 a.m., Nov. 3, with
prize giveaways every hour to raise money for local Children’s Miracle Network

All the gaming madness will be broadcast from the Altoona

fueled with caffeine thanks to coffee provided by Greenbean Coffee House!
Those who would like to join in the fun are invited to join the team at the Altoona Grand Hotel from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m, Nov. 3. There will be video/tabletop gaming, virtual reality stations, prizes and much more!
In addition, the team will hold video game tournaments that will be open to the public. The first will be a Mario Kart 8 Tournament beginning at 2 p.m. The winner will receive a Retrocon HD and copy of Mario Bros/Duck Hunt! The second tournament will be a Mario Tennis Aces Tournament beginning at 6 p.m. That winner will receive a $50 gift card for Cartridges Galore!
Entry fee for the events is $5 per person or $10 per family, which will be donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Donations can be made to the team at extra-life.org/team/gearboxunion. Live video streams can be watched at www.twitch.tv/gearboxunion or www.facebook.com/GearboxUnion.
