River Float Benefits Children's Miracle Network at Geisinger

Organizers for
the 2017 River Day Kayak/Canoe river float are planning the float on the
Susquehanna River on June 11 to benefit Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger.
The float will launch at 1
p.m. from the Bloomsburg Town Park. Participants are asked to gather at noon.
Participants will paddle
approximately 10 miles down the Susquehanna River to Riverside Adventure
Company in Riverside. Kayaks and canoes are
available for rent to preregistered participants. The registration fee is $20. A

canoe rentals.
The funds raised by this
event will help to provide pediatric equipment, programs and services at Geisinger
Janet Weis Children’s Hospital and throughout Geisinger Health System.
