Central PA 4thFest

July 4th, State College

The 4thFest is a daylong, family-oriented, patriotic birthday party held July 4th on the east campus of Penn State University. The event is packed with activities for the whole family. Starting a 9 a.m. with the Firecracker 4K race, it all leads up to a choreographed pyrotechnics show at 9:15 p.m., ranked as one of USA's best. Starting at 2 p.m., the Parade of Heroes begins downtown with large helium balloons and tributes to our local heroes. On PSU campus by the Bryce Jordan Center, a BMX exhibition, live music, entertainment and food galore is available throughout the day. Fun for the whole family. Visit for updates.


Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts

July 9-12, Downtown State College

The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts brings over

125,000 people to State College and the University Park

campus of Penn State over a five-day period each July.

The festival is home to a nationally-recognized juried outdoor

fine art and craft fair, exhibitions and a full day of children's activities.

With music, dance and theatre on outdoor and indoor stages, there is

1st Annual Wine Festival

July 25, Danville

Sponsored by the Danville Business Alliance, the festival will feature six wineries, breweries, artists, craft and food vendors, and live entertainment.  It is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2015, from noon to 5 p.m. at historic Hess Field in Danville. 77th Annual Montour - DeLong Community Fair

August 10-15, Danville

Come Harvest the Fun with great home cooking and lots of Free entertainment!  Our small country fair welcomes everyone into the fold with plenty of hospitality and a warm family atmosphere.  You are greeted with a warm, friendly smile and lots of things to see and do.  Free admission and free entertainment.  Parking is $3.  Where can a family go for so little?  Don't miss the fireworks on Friday night!  Come one, come all and see what this tiny BIG fair is all about!  You'll have some laughs and enjoy the Biggest Show in Danville!
