Jessica Owens of Albright Care Services.

Albright Care Services is pleased to announce that in addition to her current position as Slifer House Museum director, Jessica Owens has been promoted as corporate communications coordinator.

Owens graduated from Susquehanna University with a bachelor of arts degree in art history and has worked for RiverWoods as director of Slifer House Museum for three years and one year as site manager.

Formerly a staff writer at Standard Journal, Owens brings a variety of experience to her new position. She recently earned a teaching certification in English through Susquehanna University’s Teacher Intern Program, and completed her student teaching at Bloomsburg High School. In addition to directing the museum, her new role in corporate communications includes writing press releases, newsletters and other publications promoting Albright Care Services’ five sites, including RiverWoods in Lewisburg, Normandie Ridge in York and LIFE (Living Independently for Elders) Centers in Lancaster, Lebanon and Williamsport.

Owens plans to strengthen public and internal communications in her new role, and she is currently writing Albright’s centennial book, a publication slated for release in 2016.
