Professional women in the region are invited to attend a heart-healthy presentation designed to both educate and engage at the Feb 3 meeting of the Women’s Professional Partnership.
The featured speaker is Dale Gustitus, CRNP, from Geisinger’s Women’s Heart & Vascular Institute. Dale’s background is in cardiology. She graduated from Geisinger’s School of Nursing in 1992 and received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Bloomsburg University.
“Dale’s life work is dedicated to educating and empowering women to take better care of their heart health so we can be healthy for ourselves, our families and for our role as women leaders in the community,” explained Kathy Scullin, chief communications officer, Geisinger Medical Center, a WPP member who is hosting the meeting. “We will be celebrating February—Heart Month—with wine and chocolates, along with some light fare. I hope you can join us!”
Admission to the meeting is free for members of the Women’s Professional Partnership and $5 for non-members. The meeting takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. The location of the February meeting is 831 Edison Ave., Lewisburg. RSVP to: EricaSusquehannaLife@gmail.com or 570-522-0149.
