Re-Lauch of The Costume Closet and More

Sep 19, 2014 01:59PM ● By Erica Shames
The Costume Closet and More at 359 Market Street in Sunbury, is being re-launched under new owner, Ben Hartman. Although the store is still currently open, the official grand re-opening of the store will be  Sat., Sept. 27, 2014.
Ben Hartman is a Mifflinburg native, who graduated from Bucknell University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in economics.  He currently resides in Lewisburg.  He has been active in local theater almost 15 years.
Whether your goal is to dazzle at your next formal event, to find the perfect period costume for that play or musical, or just to scare the pants off of everyone at the Halloween party, The Costume Closet and More can help!  They have a huge selection of rental and retail items, including period pieces, biblical pieces, mascots, masks, and wigs.
The Costume Closet and More also offers costumed deliveries, affectionately called “Gorillagrams.”  Have your favorite mascot at your child’s next party.  Hire a gorilla to bring flowers or balloons to a co-worker or friend.
It has always been one of Hartman’s dreams to own a costume store.  “It is a really great opportunity to take over such a unique business in the community I grew up in,” he says.  “I’m really excited to keep some of the former owner’s traditions, while starting some brand new ones.”
