Susquehanna Life

Friday, October 23, 2015 6:00–8:00 p.m. It’s OWLING time! Join Shaver’s Creek staff to learn about these not-so-commonly-seen birds of Central PA. Which species are here all the time? Which species are migrating through? Who leaves Pennsylvania and who stays? We will begin the evening indoors. Then, as we explore outside, practice your owl calls with Shaver’s Creek naturalists and see who responds! Bring your flashlight, plenty of warm clothes, and sturdy shoes. We will spend half of the time outdoors. Children ages 7 and up are welcome. Owl prowls are very popular programs, so pre-registration will be required. This program is FREE to members and we suggest a $5.00/person donation for non-members. Thank you to our members whose support makes these programs possible.
