Rural Heritage Day
Union County Historical Society's largest event
Rural Heritage Day is an event where historians volunteer to participate, bringing the tools and materials needed to demonstrate their craft for the day. The presenters offer a unique opportunity for visitors to step back in time and see old methods of doing tasks that we take for granted today. Adults and children are free to stroll about the grounds and explore demonstrations that interest them. Directions to the event: Turn west in Lewisburg from Route 15 onto Route 192 and drive 1 ½ miles. Turn North on Strawbridge Road and go another 1 ½ miles to the Dale/Engle/Walker property.
