The 150th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment Field Hospital
The 150th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment Field Hospital will be onsite to help you discover the stories of the soldiers, surgeons and civilians of Gettysburg–just minutes from the battlefield. The living history group will portray two of four companies recruited from Crawford County, PA and the personnel who served in the Hospital Department during the Civil War. A special program, “Civil War Apothecary: A look back into the medical chest (Pannier) at the medicines used during the Civil War” will also be held on Saturday, July 21 at 12:30 p.m. in the lower level of the barn. The site will be open for the 2018 summer season from June 8 – August 12 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Access is via shuttle from the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center.
