All about bare-root seedlings

How to pot, plant, and nurture seedlings

Children will have an opportunity to pot Eastern white pine, American cranberry, and silky dogwood seedlings on Saturday, April 14, at a 12-noon workshop sponsored by the Linn Conservancy. They will learn how to plant the seedlings in their backyards and how to care for them as they grow. Casual play clothes are appropriate. The free bare-root potting session will be held at the Lewisburg Children’s Museum, located in the former Lewisburg Area High School building, 815 Market St. in Lewisburg. The event is part of the Conservancy's 15th annual Caring for Communities program of environmental education events held in April.
