Letters to the Editor [Summer 2017]

Jun 08, 2017 12:32AM ● Published by Melanie Heisinger

Hi Erica,

I placed an order [for the Susquehanna Life magazine subscription] when I saw a commercial for it, and figured out that was the magazine that had an article about river diving in the area—not that I'm a diver, but I never heard of river diving.  It sparked my interest.

Since we're new to the area we want to learn more about the outdoorsy stuff, especially for our little ones (i.e., non-contaminated watering holes to swim in, fish and water quality, hiking, orienteering, etc).  Since we're leaning towards staying in the area I like to hold onto the hard copies and reference them later. Thank-you!

Dear Editor,

I've always enjoyed reading Susquehanna Life magazine at doctors’ offices. I thought it would be a nice addition for my guests at our B&B [Breezy Timbers] to read and learn more about the area.

Dear Editor,

I was at a hair salon in Phoenixville, Charlotte Thomas, and starting reading [a copy of Susquehanna Life magazine]. The first article that caught my eye was the story about chicken pot pie. My mother, who is in her late 80s, just foun da recipe she thought sounded familiar to my grandmother’s. I thought on my upcoming trip to visit I would take the magazine, if I receive it in time. I also saw pictures of the metal sculpture artist. My daughter will be leaving for college in the fall and I thought that would be a great place to take a visit.

Sincerely,

Lynn Rossman, West Conshohocken, PA
