Susquehanna Life Publisher Photography Exhibit

Shames, whose photographs often appear in Susquehanna Life magazine, the publication she started in 1993 to chronicle the positive and often ignored or unappreciated aspects of life in Central Pennsylvania, says she enjoys relating to the world through a camera lens. This led to the title of the photography exhibit, "Interpreting the World Through a Lens."
The exhibit includes photographs for sale on canvas and in frames that Shames has captured throughout travels within Pennsylvania, including the Pine Creek Trail, throughout the country, including Santa Fe, NM, and San Francisco, CA, as well as throughout the world, including Italy's Amalfi Coast, where she hiked last summer.
"There's no better way to capture life's experiences, and preserve them as memories for others to enjoy, than through photography," Shames said. "It's an honor and privilege to be asked to exhibit these diverse photographs at Stacey Martin's The Post and Lintel Gallery."
