It's Not Too Late to Help Sponsor Battle of the 'Burgs!

In 2013, after the passing of Lewisburg chiropractor Mike Baker, as a result of inoperable brain cancer, Erica Shames started the Michael P. Baker Community Impact Fund. The goal is to honor Mike’s generous spirit and raise funds to help other families coping with catastrophic illness or circumstance.
The fund is
overseen by the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania ; this year, with help from Fit for Funds and Tara Michaels the Second Annual Battle of the ‘Burgs event will take place to try to meet the annual fundraising
goal of $5000.
which takes place on June 3, consists of a 3-mile race on the Buffalo ValleyRail Trail; participants choose to start at either the Lewisburg or Mifflinburg
side and meet in the middle.

You can help sponsor the event at one of two levels:
Marathon Level Sponsorship (3
sponsorships available): Financial
sponsorship of $500. Your logo goes on
the back of race tee-shirts; your logo and link to your Web site will be on AFitEvent.com
for 1 year; your business name will appear in every 2016 Battle of the ‘Burgs
Facebook post, email and press release that is disseminated to the media; you
can appear at the event to greet runners and hand out a give-away item of your
choosing (that you provide): magnets, pens, energy bars, etc.
Half Marathon Level Sponsorship (2 sponsorships available): Financial
sponsorship of $250. Your logo and link
to your Web site will be on AFitEvent.com for 1 year; your business name will
appear in every 2016 Battle of the ‘Burgs Facebook post, email and press
release that is disseminated to the media
