Letters to the Editor - Winter 2015

Nov 20, 2015 05:50AM ● Published by Erica Shames

Dear Editor,

A coworker brought in an edition [of Susquehanna Life magazine] to show me an article about Danville because I just opened a business there.  I had a subscription [to the magazine] many years ago and am just so impressed with the quality of the magazine that I wanted to get it again.  Thank-you for your dedication to highlighting this Valley.  You do such a beautiful job.  Makes one proud to live here.

Hi Erica,

I am looking forward to receiving our first copy of Susquehanna Life magazine here at Faber Burner Co.  We try not to keep customers waiting in our lobby too long, but when they do at least they will have something interesting to read.  Each issue is a treasure and I am sure we will keep them around forever.

Sincerely,

Dawn Brown,

Business Development, Faber Burner Co.,

Lock Haven, PA

Dear Erica,

I first saw Susquehanna Life at a doctor's office and it seems like every time I've been to a similar type office the past three years, I look through another issue. I have brought home [subscription] cards numerous times with the intention of subscribing but simply procrastinated.

As my wife and I are always looking for things to do, I really like the "Events Around the River" section in your magazine as well as the informative features in each issue.  Quite honestly, I think it’s the best publication in our area for finding out what’s going on and that, plus the quality of its content, are the main reasons I finally decided to subscribe.

Keep up the good work.  We are retired and if we continue to live in Central PA I am sure I will continue to read each issue with anticipation of the events that are ahead.

Ray Staub,

Carlisle, PA
