Volunteers Needed for Rescue Road Warriors

Nov 11, 2015 01:16PM ● Published by Erica Shames

The Rescue Road Warriors have set out to make sure that every animal finds a safe home. The organization recues dogs and cats from high kill shelters and puppy mills in Missouri and then an army of volunteers each take a leg of the journey to bring the animals to their new homes across the East Coast.

Over the past five years, the Rescue Road Warriors have saved some 8,000 animals and delivered them to good homes where they can have a second chance.

The organization is always looking for volunteers and all they ask is a few hours of time. For more information about the organization or volunteering, please visit rescueroadwarriors.org or check out their Facebook page
