Evangelical Fitness Center Offers an “Experience” Like No Others: BodyPump Classes

Jun 24, 2015 04:55PM ● By Erica Shames

Have you ever thought of trying out a fitness class to see if you like it, before actually committing to it? Thanks to a launch week of BodyPump classes at the Evangelical Fitness Center, 210 JPM Road, third floor, Lewisburg, individuals can do just that.

BodyPump is a Les Mills™ barbell class that strengthens the entire body. The 60-minute workout challenges all major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts, and curls. Upbeat, modern music inspires the participants to keep moving while they use the weight that best suits their desired results.

The free BodyPump classes will be offered on the following dates and all levels are welcome. Participants will have to sign a waiver before working out:

Monday, July 13th at 5:30 pm

Wednesday, July 15th at 5:30 pm

Saturday, July 18th at 8:30 am

One person will be randomly selected from each class to walk away with a prize. Possible prizes include a 30-minute personal training session, a $45 gift card for a pedicure, and a free month membership at the Fitness Center.

BodyPump is just one of the many classes offered to Evangelical Fitness Center members. Anyone can become a member — the center is open to everyone in the community. In addition to a wide-range of classes held each month, the 6,000-square-foot center is a new, modern facility filled with cardiovascular and strength training equipment, free weight area, and locker/shower room. Also available are health services including personal training, physical rehabilitation, as well as seminars on topics related to fitness and health.

“The Evangelical Fitness Center is where I started my fitness journey three years ago,” said Sharon Stein of Lewisburg. “I love the variety of classes that are offered and there is something for everyone of every fitness level. Most of all, the instructors bring and extraordinary level of energy and motivation to the classes they lead. Their expertise and dedication make me want to keep coming back.”

All of the classes are led by exercise specialists committed to the integration of prevention, wellness, and health education to help individuals meet personal fitness goals. In addition to launch week, individuals are invited to call the Fitness Center to receive a complimentary week pass to use at their convenience that allows individuals to try all services and classes risk free, including BodyPump and other Les Mills™ offerings. Memberships are available in 6 month and 12 month terms.
