A huge thank-you to everyone who came out to race and party with us at the Battle of the ‘Burgs last Friday!

Over $4,000 was raised for the Michael P. Baker Community Impact Fund, which distributes money to area families coping with catastrophic illness or circumstance!

The more than 200 people in attendance enjoyed the post-race party at Ard’s, where everyone feasted on an all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet and sipped beer from Rusty Rail Microbrewery, expected to open in August in Mifflinburg.

One of the highlights of the evening was live music from Folk Justice Band! A huge thank-you to these talented musicians for giving their time and energy to help make the event a success.

A big thank-you, also, to our team of volunteers: Cheryl Baker, David Deibler-Gorman, Tony Massoud, Erica Shames, Christina Greak, Dan Greak, Dr. Michelle Keller,  Gloria Phillips, Donna Christensen, Denise Gulliver, Mark Gulliver, Tara Michaels, Sue Baker, Marie DiTaranto and Frank DiTaranto.

Stay tuned to learn when next year’s event will take place!
