RiverWoods Hosts Fireworks Extravaganza This Weekend

As part of the 21st annual Union County Veterans 4th of July Celebration, RiverWoods invites the public to enjoy the fireworks extravaganza at dusk on Friday, June 26 at Wolfe Field, River Road.

The fireworks will be preceded by inflatable activities for children at 5 p.m. and a patriotic show featuring Seasoned Sounds Big Band beginning at 7 p.m. at Wolfe Field.  Food vendors include: Lewisburg Lions Club, Kiwanis Club of Lewisburg, Mt. Deliverance Worship Center, Lewisburg Rotary, Sunset Rotary, Crossroads Church of the Nazarene, Boy Scouts of America - Troop 513, Donald L. Heiter Community Center and Hispanic Community Center House of Refuge.

The fireworks will be accompanied by a soundtrack simulcast radio broadcast on 94KX by Sunbury Broadcasting Company. The rain date for the event is Sunday, June 28.

RiverWoods has been sponsoring the fireworks extravaganza for over 15 years. RiverWoods Senior Living Community offers a full continuum of care including residential and personal care, skilled rehabilitation and skilled nursing care. The facility is owned and operated by Albright Care Services, a faith-based, non-profit organization.
