Susquehanna Life Expands the PA Collection

Apr 29, 2015 09:56AM ● By Erica Shames

In 2011, Susquehanna Life donated over 200 books, and a complete set of Susquehanna Life magazines dating back to the magazine’s inception in 1993, to establish the Susquehanna Life Magazines Pennsylvania Collection at The Public Library for Union County in Lewisburg.

Each year, Susquehanna Life magazine donates additional materials to help expand the collection. Recently, a total of 23 books, and 2014 issues of Susquehanna Life magazines, were donated to enhance and add to the collection.

Among the stand-outs of the donation are coffee table books including Life in the Keystone State, by Dennis Wolfe, and the adorable children’s book, The Cow in Patrick O’Shanahan’s Kitchen, by Diana Prichard.

You can access the Susquehanna Life Magazines Pennsylvania Collection at the Public Library for Union County, Reitz Blvd., Lewisburg. More information is at (570) 522-0149.
