Letters to the Editor, Spring 2015

Mar 11, 2015 09:54AM ● Published by Kevin

Dear Editor,

I love your magazine. I read it cover-to-cover the day I receive it. I have a summer home at Central Oak Heights in West Milton and keep the issues there for friends to read when they come to visit.  They love Susquehanna Life, too!

Sincerely,

Barbara Strine, Lemoyne, PA

Dear Erica,

I read the current issue [of Susquehanna Life magazine] at Cumberland Physical Therapy.  There were so many destination ideas that I enjoyed reading it.  I purchased a subscription for my husband because of the historical articles, as he is an 8th grade U.S. history teacher.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Fissel, Grantham, PA

Dear Editor,

I have always caught a glimpse of the [Susquehanna Life] magazines at various locations, and thought it would be a nice gift to my boyfriend since we both grew up around here. The photos are breathtaking! Now I will get to enjoy it, too. I have always heard that you should give gifts that you would like to receive, so it’s a win-win situation! Thank you. Keep up the great work.

Sincerely,

Loretta Neyhard, Milton, PA

Dear Editor,

My son and his wife are both in agribusiness and just moved to the Susquehanna region. My sister, who lives in the Lancaster, area had shared your fall issue with me. I enjoyed it. I thought it would be a great gift as both my son and his wife are interested in learning about both natural attractions and cultural events of the area. Both are Penn State graduates and love the State College area but are not familiar with the Susquehanna region.  They already know they like the “quiet” of the region.

By the way, I picked up a winter issue for myself at Barnes and Noble in Wyomissing. The magazine is well done.  I look forward to exploring the area myself! The best [to you] in 2015.

Sincerely,

Leslie P. Miller

Dear Erica,

My wife and I are avid readers and enjoy all types of books and magazines. We’ll try a few new magazines a year and this year you made my list to try.  Susquehanna Life is the first magazine I reach for at our dentist’s office; it always has informative articles on interesting aspects of living here. We’re in our mid-60s and enjoy weekend drives through Central PA and your magazine gives me good ideas of where to go and what to do.

We also have a son relocating with his family back to the area, and our daughter-in-law is not from here. We [gave them a subscription because we] thought your magazine would be a nice way of introducing her to what Central PA has to offer.

Sincerely,

Ken Bogdan, Mechanicsburg, PA
