Silent Art Auction at Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival

Feb 02, 2015 11:44AM ● By Erica Shames

A tapestry pillow. A pottery jar. A hand-beaded necklace. One-of-a-kind wooden toys. Original watercolors, oils, photographs, sculpture, and more – all at the Silent Art Auction on Saturday, Feb. 7, during the Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival.

The auction will be held that afternoon from 1 to 4 p.m. on the third floor Community Room of Barnes & Noble Bucknell University at 400 Market St.

The art offerings feature work donated by artists who participated in last April’s Lewisburg Arts Festival. You’ll find everything from paintings, photographs, and prints to pottery, textiles, jewelry, toys, and many other works of art. All proceeds benefit the programs of the Lewisburg Arts Council, including the upcoming 2015 Lewisburg Celebration of the Arts, and scholarships for Lewisburg Area High School students. A link to all the images of the available pieces in the auction can be found on the Lewisburg Arts Council’s website:
