Hempfield Alum Continues Running Successes

Lancaster County's Zach Miller was recently highlighted by WGAL, reviewing his accolades from years past. The 26-year-old Hempfield High School alumnus (he ran cross country and track there) won the JFK ultra-marathon (50 mile) race last year, was endorsed by Nike soon after, and has continued his running career since then.

He most recently competed in the 2014 IAU 100k World Championships in Qatar, placing ninth overall. He finished in 6:51:30. Other top U.S. finishers include Zach Bitter (sixth overall, 6:48:53) and Max King (first place, 6:27:43).
