If you are knee-deep in the college search this fall, and a college’s environmental record and commitment to sustainability is important to you, then check out Princeton Review’s annual green college ratings at princetonreview.com/green-guide.aspx.

While there are plenty of Pennsylvania colleges on the list, Carlisle-based Dickinson College emerges as a top green college nationwide for its sustainability programs. The majority of environmental efforts at Dickinson are student-led, such as the biodiesel shop, a bicycle co-op, student-funded solar panels, the organic farm and more. Learn more about how the college plans to be carbon neutral by 2020 here dickinson.edu/homepage/569/sustainable_dickinson.
