According to a recent announcement made by Sears, five stores will be closed in Pennsylvania, including two in the Susquehanna Valley.

Locations in Lebanon, 1301 Quentin Road, and Chambersburg, 1475 Nitterhouse Drive, will be shut down in January.

"The company says it's part of an effort to reduce costs," according to an Oct. 21 report by WGAL. "It says 350 employees will be affected. Those who are laid off will have a chance to apply for openings at other locations."
